This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump publicly and unequivocally announces that he is removing Lisa Cook as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, or takes formal action towards doing so, such as issuing a directive or a formal request, between the creation of this market and the specified date, at 05:59 CET/CEST on the following day. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Contingent statements (for example, "Cook must step down"), statements of intent (for example, "I am planning to fire Cook") and other informal remarks that fall short of being unequivocal will not qualify. If Lisa Cook resigns or otherwise formally leaves her role as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors before a qualifying action takes place, this market will immediately resolve to "No". The resolution source will be official information from Donald Trump, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
