This market resolves to “Yes” if X is passed by both chambers of the U.S. Congress and becomes law by January 1, 2027 at 05:59 CET. Otherwise, it resolves to “No.” Qualifying legislation may include joint resolutions. To count, the measure must pass both the House and the Senate, and must then either be signed by the President, become law without the President’s signature while Congress remains in session, or become law through a veto override. A presidential pocket veto that is allowed to expire will result in a “No” resolution. The primary resolution sources for this market will be Congress.gov’s legislation tracker (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/22), the Library of Congress (congress.gov), and other official information from the United States government, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
