This is a market on the change in UK consumer prices over the twelve months ending December 2026, before seasonal adjustment, as reported by the Office for National Statistics. The market will resolve according to the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index over that twelve-month period, as given in the monthly ONS report. The resolution source will be the ONS Consumer Price Index monthly report for December 2026 (https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/inflationandpriceindices/bulletins/consumerpriceinflation/previousreleases), currently scheduled for release on 20 January 2027. The market will resolve on publication of that data. If no data for the specified month has been released by the date on which the following month's data is scheduled to appear, the market will resolve on the last available month's figure. The report can be found by selecting the relevant month from the previous releases page for price indices on the ONS website. The relevant figure appears in the "Consumer price inflation rates" table, in the column labelled "CPI 12-month rate (%)". Note: the official monthly ONS CPI release reports the twelve-month rate to one decimal place, for example 1.9%. That is the level of precision used to resolve this market.
