This market resolves Yes if a candidate representing the Democratic Party wins the 2026 midterm U.S. Senate elections in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina and Maine, inclusive of any run-offs. A candidate is considered to represent a party if he or she is that party's nominee. Candidates other than the Democratic nominee — Green, Libertarian, independent and so on — do not count. Candidates who run as independents are not considered Democrats, regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party. The resolution sources for this market are the Associated Press, Fox News and NBC. The market resolves once all three sources call every relevant race for the same candidate. If all three do not call a relevant race for the same candidate, official certification of the election results is used instead.
