For the 99th Academy Awards, nominations are scheduled to be announced on January 21, 2027, with the ceremony following on March 14, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed film that wins the 99th Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film. If a film is not officially nominated in that category when the 2027 nominees are announced, the corresponding market will immediately resolve to "No". In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favour of the nominated film whose title comes first alphabetically. If no winner has been declared by 05:59 CET/CEST on July 1, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including its website and the live broadcast of the ceremony, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
