This market will resolve to the number of individuals who officially hold the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom at any point between the market's creation and 05:59 CET/CEST on January 1, 2028. Resolution is based on the number of distinct individuals to hold the position, so someone appointed twice within the period counts only once. To count, an individual must have been officially appointed by the Monarch. The timing of that appointment has no bearing on the market, provided the individual officially serves as Prime Minister within the period. Interim and caretaker prime ministers will not count. For clarity, Keir Starmer counts as one prime minister for the purposes of this market. The primary resolution source will be official information from the Government of the United Kingdom, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
