This market will resolve according to the individual ranked first in Google's official Year in Search Global "Athletes" list for 2026. The list is expected to appear on the Google Trends Year in Search hub with the location set to Global. As of the market's creation, it can be reached by going to trends.withgoogle.com/year-in-search/ and clicking through Global, then Sports, then Athletes. The 2026 page is expected to appear via the same route once released, as the 2025 page currently does. The market will resolve on that list regardless of the navigation required to reach it. This market may resolve as soon as the 2026 list is published. If Google has not published it by 05:59 CET/CEST on April 1, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the list as published by Google.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
