This market resolves according to the number of albums that reach No. 1 on any official weekly Billboard 200 chart whose full data-collection period falls entirely between January 1 and December 31, 2026. Each distinct album can count only once, no matter how many separate weeks it spends at No. 1. Different editions of the same album will be treated as separate albums if they have different tracklists. Billboard typically updates the Billboard 200 every Tuesday, with occasional holiday-week schedule changes, using data from the prior Friday through Thursday. Each chart is labeled with the date of the upcoming Saturday. For this market, the first relevant Billboard 200 chart is the one dated “Week of January 17, 2026,” which corresponds to the January 2–8, 2026 tracking period. The final relevant chart is the one dated “Week of January 9, 2027,” which corresponds to the December 25–31, 2026 tracking period. All officially published Billboard 200 charts will be treated as final. Any revisions made after a chart has been released will be disregarded. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official weekly Billboard 200 chart published at https://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200/ and through other official Billboard channels, though a consensus of credible reporting on which albums reached No. 1 during the relevant period may also be used.
