This market resolves YES if Mojtaba Khamenei ceases to serve as Iran’s de facto leader at any point between market creation and the specified date at 05:59 CET/CEST the following day. Otherwise, it resolves NO. What qualifies: Mojtaba Khamenei is considered no longer in power if he is removed, detained, loses his position, or is otherwise prevented from functioning as Iran’s de facto leader within the market’s timeframe. An official announcement that he has resigned or been removed is sufficient for a YES, regardless of when the announced departure is scheduled to take effect.
