This market resolves Yes if at least one earthquake measuring magnitude 10.0 or higher occurs anywhere on Earth between December 8, 2025, 6:00 PM CET and January 1, 2027, 5:59 AM CET. Otherwise, it resolves No. The resolution source is the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquake Hazards Program significant-earthquakes list: https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/browse/significant.php#sigdef If an earthquake of substantial size occurs within the market window but has not yet appeared on the source, the market may stay open until February 1, 2027, 5:59 AM CET, or until the earthquake appears on the source. If the earthquake has still not appeared by that date, another credible source will be used. Once a qualifying earthquake is registered, the market stays open for 24 hours to allow for magnitude revisions, then resolves according to the latest recorded data.
