The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor the best in U.S. prime-time television programming aired between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026. The ceremony is currently scheduled for September 14, 2026 at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. This market resolves according to the streaming service that wins the greatest number of Emmys at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards. An Emmy will be credited to a streaming service if the show for which the award is won is officially attributed to that service, regardless of whether the recipient is an individual, the series itself, or another entity. For example, if Steve Carell were to win “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” for “Rooster,” that award would count for HBO Max. If two or more streaming services tie for the most Emmy wins, this market will resolve in favor of the service whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If all 78th Primetime Emmy Awards have not been handed out by January 1, 2027 at 05:59 CET, this market will resolve based on the awards that have been given out by that point. If no Emmys have been awarded by then, this market will resolve to “Other.” The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Television Academy, including its website, such as https://www.televisionacademy.com/, and the live broadcasts of the Creative Arts Emmys and the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
