Resolves YES if Manchester City are officially relegated from the Premier League after the 2026-27 season, or are expelled from the Premier League by 30 June 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise NO. Relegation or expulsion counts whatever the reason, including points deductions or other sanctions from the league's '115 charges' case over the club's alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules, announced on 6 February 2023. An expulsion counts as soon as it has been officially imposed and announced, even if it is later appealed or overturned. Should the 2026-27 Premier League season still be unfinished at 30 June 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the answer is NO unless City have been expelled by then. Decided primarily by official information from the Premier League; broad agreement among reliable reports may also be used.
