This market resolves YES if Vladimir Putin ceases to be President of Russia for any period of time between market creation and the specified date at 05:59 CET/CEST the following day. Otherwise, it resolves NO. An announcement before the market’s end date that Putin will resign or be removed qualifies immediately for YES, regardless of when the announced resignation or removal actually takes effect. What counts as leaving office: Putin being detained, effectively removed from the presidency, or otherwise permanently prevented from carrying out the duties of President of Russia within the market’s timeframe. Resolution source: official information from Vladimir Putin and the Russian government, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
