This market resolves Yes if President Donald Trump announces that he has resigned, or will resign, the presidency by January 1, 2027, 5:59 AM CET. Otherwise, it resolves No. Only the announcement matters; whether Trump actually resigns has no bearing on resolution. If it becomes impossible for him to resign or announce a resignation within the market’s timeframe, including removal from office by other means, the market resolves No immediately. The primary resolution source is official U.S. federal government information, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
