This market resolves Yes if President Donald Trump announces that he has resigned, or will resign, the presidency by December 31, 2026, 5:59 AM CET/CEST on the following day. Otherwise, it resolves No. Only the announcement matters. Whether Trump actually resigns has no bearing on resolution. If it becomes impossible for him to resign or announce a resignation, including removal from office by other means, the market immediately resolves No. The primary resolution source is official U.S. federal government information. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
