This market resolves to the political party that controls the U.S. House of Representatives following the House elections scheduled for November 3, 2026. What constitutes control: A party controls the House if it holds more than half of all voting seats. Ambiguous outcome: If House control cannot be determined under this rule, the market remains open until a Speaker is chosen following the 2026 U.S. general election. It then resolves to the party with which the newly elected Speaker is affiliated at the time of their election as Speaker. If the elected Speaker does not caucus with any party listed in the market, the outcome resolves to “Other.” Resolution source: Control of the House is determined through a consensus of credible reporting. If the result remains unclear, final certifications or other official determinations from federal or state election authorities are used.
Each percentage is the market’s current estimate of how likely that answer is. A contract settles at 100p if the answer is right and at 0p if it is wrong.
